WA Registered Competition (H1-18m + eliminations)
An important indoor archery event, registered under the banner of World Archery (WA), will take place on October 24–25, 2026.
The organizer of the competition is SPORTAcademy Hlohovec, while the main partners of the event are ELEVEN and R-Core.
Due to the need to ensure maximum comfort for competitors and the smooth running of the event, the total competition capacity is strictly limited to 216 archers.

Competitor Registration and Entry Fee
Registration takes place exclusively online through the official registration portal:
During registration, competitors may select their preferred qualification group.
Participation is conditional upon valid membership in the Slovak Archery Association (SLZ) or another national association affiliated with World Archery.
Applications will be accepted until the maximum hall capacity is reached.
The competitor draw will be conducted by the organizer in the presence of at least one member of the judging panel.
Entry Fee
- Registration until 15 September 2026: €40
- Registration from 16 September 2026: €50
Payment is made by bank transfer according to the instructions generated during registration.
Registration becomes valid only after full payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy
- Entry fees are non-refundable in case of non-participation.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing no later than 10 October 2026.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the official end of the competition.

The competition is shot on two shooting lines.
Qualification follows the WA H1-18m Round format.
The best 32 archers in each division advance to the Elimination League phase.

Competition System: Elimination League
The best 32 archers from qualification in each division advance to the Elimination League.
In the elimination phase there are no age or gender categories. Competitors from U18 through 50+ compete together within their division.
Phase 1 – Group Stage
Qualified athletes are divided into:
- 4 groups
- 8 athletes per group
Each archer shoots against every other athlete in the group.
- Total matches per athlete: 7
Match Format
Recurve and Barebow
- Set system
- First to 6 points
- Draws allowed
Compound
- 5-end cumulative scoring system
Group Points
- Win = 2 points
- Draw = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
Phase 2 – Elimination Bracket
The best 5 athletes from each group advance.
Advancement Rules
- Group winner advances directly to the Quarterfinals.
- Athletes ranked 2nd–5th advance to preliminary elimination matches.

Tie-Break Rules
Tie for 1st Place
- One-arrow shoot-off
- 90-second practice before shoot-off
Tie for Positions 2–5
- Position determined by draw
Tie at Advancement Cut-Off
- One-arrow shoot-off
- 90-second practice before shoot-off
All elimination matches use standard knockout rules.
Any tied elimination match is decided by an immediate shoot-off.
The final session will be streamed live on YouTube.

- Athletes placing 4th–8th receive prizes from event partners.
- Best female athlete in each division receives a special award.
- Top three athletes in the Second Chance competition receive prizes.
Food and Accommodation
The organizer does not provide catering.
Food delivery services such as Bolt Food are available in the area.
Order and Safety Provisions
All registered archers participate at their own risk.
Competitors, coaches, team officials and spectators must respect all venue regulations.
Indoor Shoes Required
Only clean indoor sports shoes are permitted on the competition floor.
Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
Access to the competition floor is limited to:
